Mercedes 220 280 SE SEL SL 300 SEL Ikar Ventilated Ignition Distributor Points Set.

• This is for a limited selection of Mercedes engines with the cast iron distributor, please look closely at the photos.
   
  
• Some engines may have had a replacement distributor installed which would be an aluminum distributor, which these points will not fit.
  
  
• The Mercedes part number is 000 158 27 90 and the equivalent Bosch # is 1 237 013 082 or short # 01 027.
  
  
• These are made my Ikar of Germany and are a ventilated point, i.e., have a hole in the point contact to reduce heat and material transfer.
   
  
• The Ikar part number is 1705-V.
  
  
• We also have the original Bosch points set.
