• This is a new, Genuine Mercedes part which is no longer available from Mercedes.
  
  
• The part number for this is 107 860 03 69, and should have a tag on the old strap, to identify it.
  
  
• There were 2 different versions of this seat belt lock, with very slight differences:
  
  
• Please see the last picture above, which shows both style male portions one which fits this lock, the other which does not.
  
  
  
• These are the dimensions of this part, and close attention to these details is important:
  
  
  • The slot width / opening on this one is 30.30mm or 1.19" or appx. 1 3/16".
    
    
  • The inner slot width is 25.1mm or not quite 1".
    
    
  • The width of the chrome buckle that slides into this lock is 25.0mm and a about .98" or appx. 31/32".
    
    
  • The end of that chrome male part is flat and has a rectangular open slot 16.40mm /  .645" or appx. 5/8" by 11.75mm / .46" or appx. 15/32".
    
    
  • The actual dimensions of the plastic are 50mm / 2" wide, 22mm / .878" or about 7/8" thick and 42mm /  1.65" /  appx. 1 13/16" tall.
    
    
  • This buckle is made of plastic and fits the male part on the right in the picture.
    
    
    
• The alternate other lock which this will NOT replace measures:
  
  
  • The slot width / opening on this one is 38mm or 1.50" or 1 1/2".
    
    
  • The width of the chrome buckle that slides into this lock is 26.23mm and a about 1.03" or appx. 1 1/32", and tapers out to 27.38mm / 1.078" or a little over than 1 1/16".
    
    
  • The length from the black slide on the chrome buckle male portion, to the end of the chrome is 29.75mm / 1.17" or a little over 1 5/32".
    
    
  • The end of that chrome male part is rounded and has a square open slot 11.13mm /  .438" or appx. 15/32" square.
    
    
  • The actual dimensions of the plastic are 52mm / 2.05" wide, 20mm / .809" or about 25/32" thick and 36.50mm /  1.44" /  appx. 1 3/8" tall.
    
    
  • This buckle is made of metal and fits the male part on the left in the picture.
