• This piston ring set is for the Mercedes-Benz 4 cylinder OM636 diesel motor used in the 180D and 180Db, plus was used in truck and train freight car refrigeration units.

• The Mercedes part number for this ring set is 000 030 28 24, and replaced old #s 001 586 01 03 and 001 586 94 03
   
  
• This is a complete set for all 4 pistons, however the Mercedes set, if available, retails for $182.00 per cylinder.
   
  
• This is a complete set of piston rings for the 5 ring piston on the OM636 diesel motors, and are made in Brazil by Cofap, a very high quality, and well know manufacturer.
   
  
• This set is for the 1st over piston size of 75.50mm, but I also have the standard set 75.00mm available so please enter 0000302724 in the eBay search box if you need those.
   
  
• This ring set has a chrome top ring, cast iron 2nd and 3rd and the 4th and 5th rings are cast OEM style oil control rings, the 5th being a 4 piece ring.
   
• The rings sizes are, starting at the top down, in mm, 2.0 / 2.0 / 2.0 / 5.0 / 5.0mm.
