• This switch is made by VDO, the original supplier to Mercedes, part number 11/17/50 and is 100° Celsius /  212° Fahrenheit.
   
  
• The switch says on each flat of the hex 11/17/50, 100° C + - 3 C, 120° C max, 6.69, 6...24 V 3 W
   
  
• This switch  mounts in the thermostat cover.
   
  
• This switch grounds out at 100° C / 212° F to complete the circuit for the electric fan in front of the radiator.
   
  
• This switch is part number 003 545 01 24 and was replaced by 003 545 24 24, both are NLA or No Longer Available from Mercedes-Benz.
