• This is a set of 4 shims for the rear brake pads and help to absorb the vibration that causes a squeal.
  
  
• Since these go behind the brake pad, they also add a few thousand more miles to the brake pad life, since normally the caliper will only extend so far, but this will extend the pads further.
  
  
• These original Ate shims can be used with these rear brake pads.
  
  
• These shims will not work with pads that already have built in noise dampening shims, since they will make the pads too thick to install.
