This is a set of both left and right front strut assemblies, from Bilstein, the premium shock absorber company.
This pair of Bilstein struts will fit ONLY SELECT years and models of the 1999 thru 2004 E46 so PLEASE see the application fitment table to confirm.
These are the standard OE replacement shocks to retain the original but better ride.
PLEASE NOTE: These struts are NOT for models with sports suspension.
The BMW part numbers on these is 31 31 1 096 853 & 31 31 1 096 854 later replaced with #'s 31 31 6 759 561 & 31 31 6 759 562
The Bilstein numbers are F4-VNE-A309BG & F4-VNE-A310-BG and Bilstein later changed their numbering system to 22103093 & 22103109
