Return & Warranty Policies
Warranty: Original factory Mercedes parts may have a warranty that will be honored at your local Mercedes Benz dealership. Please contact us to see if the Original Mercedes part you purchased qualifies for this or not. All warranties will be handled on an individual basis with communication with eps. If you have a "possible" warranty condition, the first step is to contact us! NOT following this one step may seriously jeopardize the possibility of obtaining a warranty on any part. Please outline the vehicle information, additional parts installed, who installed the part, when it was installed and what the symptoms are that lead to the conclusion that a warranty condition exists. Defective parts are very rare, and typically a warranty situation is really not what exists, but more often a different condition exists that leads to the conclusion that the part is defective. Sometimes a particular part will require the replacement of other items related to the system, such as air conditioning systems always require a new receiver drier at a minimum. Failure to replace the basic parts required for a complete and proper installation can jeopardize a warranty. Parts broken or damaged during installation will not be considered for warranty. Any other parts subject to damage as a result of a defective part will not be covered. Warranty parts will only be replaced, not refunded, with the exception of a road trip break down where no opportunity was available to obtain the replacement part from eps. This will be taken into consideration, however a part can be drop shipped anywhere, so please contact us immediately when a possible warranty condition exists.
Return Fee: With the exception of an error on our part, not including on-line catalog error, all returns will be assessed a 20% return handling fee. This is generally what we also have to pay. Any credit for a return, with the exception of core refunds, tool rental deposits, or because of an error on our part, will be applied to future purchases only. Any return because of refusal of delivery for any reason will be assessed all shipping fees plus a 25% handling charge. If a C.O.D. order is returned unaccepted for any reason the customer will not be allowed to purchase from eps or epsparts.com until all shipping charges and return handling charges are paid in advance of any further purchase
Problem Resolution: It is our desire that any problem resulting from a customer's purchase from eps be handled in an expeditious and friendly manner. We take out of the ordinary steps to insure the satisfaction of our customers. It is important, however, that a customer abide by the same code of ethics that eps has. We are old fashioned, and still believe that fair play and honesty is the best policy, and that they do still exist for the most part. Unfortunately, we only have control over our own actions. Because of this, any and all customers purchasing from eps or epsparts.com agree, by that purchase, to be bound by and accept the above company policies of eps , as binding on their purchase. Final determination of the validity of any claim against eps or epsparts.com becomes the sole right of eps and epsparts.com .
