Hello, my name is Randy Steele. I am the owner and President of European Parts Specialists, Ltd, or EPS for short. We are the company behind epsparts.com, the web site. I have been in the automotive parts business for over 42 years now, having embarked on this career in 1968. After 13 years of Mercedes Benz, Saab, Volvo and Honda dealership parts training and experience, I opened EPS in May of 1981.
When we opened our store in May of 1981, we began a unique business, an auto parts store for only German cars like Mercedes Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen; and Swedish cars Volvo and Saab. This was almost unheard of at the time! When we entered the mail order business in the fall of 1981, we also became one of the very first ones doing this. Our web presence began with www.epsparts.com a Mercedes only based web site. Since then, and through several changes and upgrades, we are very proud to offer our latest version of epsparts.com. We feel that this new generation web site, offering Mercedes, BMW, Mini, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, Volvo and Saab parts, offers the most comprehensive offering of OE and OEM parts and accessories on the web!
Since our beginning in 1981, we have maintained our presence in the mail order business and our retail parts location, much as we started it. We are large enough to care for all of our customers' needs, yet small enough to care about all of our customers' concerns. This will remain our desire as long as we are in business. We began as a family owned and operated business, and will remain so.
I personally have over 34 years of experience with Mercedes Benz, both on a dealership level, and with EPS. I have gained over 28 years of experience with the other German and Swedish automobiles since opening EPS. Now as we expand our knowledge base and parts availability we strive to continue to provide the same expertise and service our reputation is so well known for. It is this knowledge and experience that we offer as the basis for our ability to care for our customers parts needs.
We have always had a few unique characteristics that have set us apart from other companies, and we do not intend to change these. For instance, it is important to us that all of are customers' needs are taken care of. Therefore we have no minimum order. We take the extra time to insure that the parts arrive in perfect condition, and when the customer needs them. We do this through attention to detail and care in packaging and a variety of shipping methods that allow our customers to choose how much they want to spend on shipping based on how soon they need their parts.
It is critically important to us that our customers are pleased with their experience with EPS and epsparts.com as stated by our mission statement. This is the basis for our "satisfaction guaranteed" return policy.
